Roslyn Real Estate

Renowned for its historic district, the village of Roslyn has more than 80 landmark sites. Perhaps the most prominent is the 1895 clock tower, which stands 44 feet tall on Northern Boulevard. Also in the district are 18th and 19th century homes, the Roslyn Grist Mill and boutiques and restaurants that dot Main Street, Old Northern Boulevard and East Broadway

Gerry Park, where Bryant Library is located, is a gathering place where residents can enjoy summer concerts and winter activities such as sleigh riding. The park is named for Roger and Peggy Gerry, who founded the Roslyn Preservation Corp. and the Roslyn Landmark Society in the early 1960s.

While the housing stock includes vintage Italianate, Federal and Greek Revival styles, buyers can also find a mix of styles from this century. Developments outside the historic district include Roslyn Pines and Marchant Park. Since the village is centrally located, residents have easy access to major highways, roadways and Manhattan, as well as to area hospitals.
